"I started with Angela almost a year ago for lashes and they were great. Upon our first appointment I explained to her how I had "pregnancy mask" and how self conscious I was of it. We spoke about microdermabrasion and I went home to think about it. I was advised not to do it while nursing so I had some time to think. During this waiting period I spoke to my Dr as well as a dermatologist whom both said "it wouldn't go away and get some good cover up". Feeling defeated, I said to Angela, lets give it a try. "Angela, I have been to your studio 3 times. I've waited before posting my recommendation only because I wanted to have a few treatments under my belt before commenting. Your studio has a very relaxing and calming environment. My first treatment was your Rejuvenating Facial. You spoke to me about my skin and what to expect during and after my treatment. My face was treated to cleansing, exfoliation, mask, black head removals (by steam and your gentle touch), i had many "old" blackheads especially on and around my nose. The facial/neck/shoulder massage was so relaxing, I really didn't want you to stop. The moisturizer felt and smelt wonderful. Included in this treatment was a hand - arm massage which really made me feel pampered. You suggested that these treatments be repeated every 4-5 weeks........I will be back! I booked a second visit with you for a brow wax. I told you I had this little white bump by my eye, it was like a tiny white ball under my skin, it didn't hurt, It was just annoying for me. i tried to squeeze it out like a blackhead and the thing wouldn't move! Your gentle approach in extraction has made me feel more confident, knowing that when I have eye to eye contact with people, the little white ball is no longer there! You then acted on another 3 that were developing on my upper cheek. As you were extracting those you told me what they were, (Milia) how they developed and suggested a change in my routine and products to help prevent anymore from forming. Your knowledge impresses me. My third visit was for another waxing. I have gone to a few spas over the years, some for waxing. As I laid on your spa bed (which is very comfortable and warm, with blankets and pillows) I prepared myself by becoming tense, waiting on the "pull " of the cold wax off my skin, but that didn't happen. Again your waxing technique was new to me and pain free, I felt relaxed...I am definitely going to be a repeat customer!!!!! My skin continues to feel lovely and soft.
